Her birthplace and childhood home was Spalding, Saskatchewan, she later moved from Saskatchewan to Alberta, Canada, from the place where she finished high school. Through her teens she discovered a passion for acting. To receive further training in acting, she took a class at the 'National Theatre Academy located in Montreal as well as the Moscow Theatre School. The actress made her TV debut in the year 1996 acting in a minor role on the Canadian series titled 'The Rez. The following year, she appeared in television shows like "Forever Knight" as well as 'Ready or not. Also, she had her first film role during the 1990s' final years through the movie "Papertrail," and was later seen in films including "Men With Brooms" as well as Cypher. Additionally, she was in as a supporting character in shows including "A Nero Wolfe Mystery' and the 'Blue Murder. While she continued acting in movies throughout in the 2000s, her movie appearances were fewer compared to her television roles.
