Meredith Salenger

Salenger lived in Malibu. As a child she enjoyed performing in front of her close family and friends. She was taken by her mother to her first class in acting when she was 8 years old. The John Huston directed film Annie, she played an unimportant role, in which she was called a "singing and dance orphan". Salenger is also part of the commercials of a couple of television networks. The first time she was the main character part of her role in the Disney production The Journey of Natty Gann costarring John Cusack and Ray Wise and was the very first US film to earn the gold award at the Moscow Film Festival. She was also named "Best actress in Drama" from the Youth in Film Awards, because of her portrayal of the sexy Natty. In her early 20s, she starred in another four films, one of which was A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon. In the following years, she moved to Harvard in order to further her studies.
