Ally Sheedy Bio

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy has been an American actress since the year 1983. Following her film debut in 1983's Bad Boys, she was part in the Brat Pack group of actors and starred on WarGames The Breakfast Club and Short Circuit. Sheedy was honored with an Independent Spirit Award as Best Female Lead for her role in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art. The 12th April in 1992 Sheedy was married by actor David Lansbury who is the nephew to actress Angela Lansbury and son of Edgar Lansbury the original producer of Godspell. Beckett Lansbury was born in 1994. Beckett is a trans-man who's transition Sheedy says she had a great experience. Alexandra Elizabeth Ally Sheedy (born June 13, 1962) was an American film and stage actress as well as the author of two novels. Her greatest fame is her roles in the Brat Pack films The Breakfast Club and St. Elmo's Fire. The Breakfast Club: What is its meaning? The significance behind the film's title "The Breakfast Club" stems from a nickname some schools have for detention. Detention students would show up at a time that was early in the morning usually at breakfast time. They are the Next Generation. Her resume has now included "teacher". She taught acting classes at City College, New York City.
